The ThreatWall Email Security Gateway combines everything needed for complete email security and management. Our advanced Anti-Spam engine ensures your users and mail systems are dealing only with quality mail, while both users and network infrastructure are protected by eSoft’s industry-acclaimed Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Phishing and Intrusion Prevention technologies. For compliance and organizational policy enforcement, all inbound and outbound email is scanned over both SMTP and POP3 protocols. User and admin-based quarantines allow flexibility to meet any email handling policy. Hardware features such as RAID-mirrored storage and LAN-bypass circuitry assure maximum performance under the highest load conditions.

When deployed in transparent mode, it requires no configuration changes to the mail server, allowing even faster deployment and management. The Gateway also deploys seamlessly in most LDAP or Active Directory environments. Email Content Filtering / Compliance Enforcement

Whether driven by compliance regulations or organizational policy enforcement, email content filtering is becoming an increasingly important tool for the IT manager. eSoft’s Email Security Gateway provides one of the most complete, easy-to-use filtering systems available.

The Gateway scans all incoming and outgoing email for user-defined keywords and phrases embedded in the email body, as well as major attachment types. The Gateway can then be configured to automatically reject, redirect, quarantine or tag and deliver filtered e-mails. To prevent unintended filtering, the Gateway allows creation of custom “white lists” of trusted senders, such as customers and business partners. The system also allows creation of custom lists of file types to be blocked or quarantined, such as .exe, .p2p, .asp, etc. Where most market solutions filter only SMTP traffic, eSoft scans all POP3 traffic, providing compliance monitoring and enforcement for hosted email services.
